I love this game!. It's kept me busy for weeks and I'm still not bored of it!. Its my favourite game to play on Live too   . Much better than Halo if you ask me.

As far as GOW, EASILY the best game in the last 5 years imho. I was getting so sick and tired of these lame, tired, FPS games...

Its the best game I have played for years!, It exceeded all of the hype and my expectations.  My 2 lads who have a 360 each cant get enough of it........


Just waiting on the second installment..........(a long wait I know! )

try not to think about it that way.  while you may not like this game specifically, there is nothing to say that it wont be a positive influence for future games.  many people did not like halo, but halo and halo 2 have influenced a lot of games in a positive way regardless of someone's personal opinion.

Just look at all the games for the DS that has sold more then 4mil in japan alone, How much are the latest Pokemon up to since its release in september(?) 5 mil?

Also this "Expanding upon its reign as the fastest-selling title of 2006" I just checked an Pokemon on the ds sold 3 mil in japan alone in 6 weeks. So how does Gears become the fastest selling?

consoles and handhelds are not in the same category for many reasons.  please just let the fans and other gamers discuss their likes/dislikes about the game, we dont need people intentionally trying to rain on anyone's parade.

awesome gameplay and graphics.  I could play over and over again.  co-op is just the icing on the cake especially on a 55" LCD HDTV.  My wife hates this game, but not because of the game, because I cant put it down.  
I think anyone that does not like it is just trying to keep games like Halo 2 on top.  I am not trying to start anything, I just dont see how you cant like this game at least a little bit.
