RAAM was a bitch to kill. Took us 15 tries or so to do it. The time he finally died, my friend got downed while running to the other end of the car, and I couldn't get to him. He sat there for like 5 mins yelling at me while I torque-bowed RAAM. Funny.

Completed Insane on my own with no co-op but trying to do it now in co-op with girlfriend... and got all cog tags..

I can't believe I finally got it, I wanted to do the entire game, all 3 difficulties, solo only.
I got through the game on insane just fine, little trouble at the end of the third act and through the fourth, but Raam just stopped me like a brick wall.  I'm not going to lie, I kept track, and on insane solo in took me 126 tries to beat him.  Thought of giving up and doing co-op a few times but I figure if edison can fail at the light bulb 400+ times, i should keep it up untill Raam is dead.
I did it a weird way the last 10 tries and this was the key to success.  On insane solo, I took the torque bow and the shot gun, i weakened him up w/ torque bow shots untill he got close enough, then blind through all 4 grenades, then i played the "barrier game" moving back and forth luring raam to follow, all the while blind firing close range shotgun rounds on him, when he attempted to cross the barrier and put me in his line of sight, I simply walked around to other side of the barrier, walking was key, jumping to the other side seemed to be suicide.
Anyway, sorry I rambled on, I am excited, and oh yes, i did compare myself to edison, i totally went there

Finished all modes in solo (co-op is cheating in my opinion). Took me 2 days to finish insane because Raam is a total bastard to kill when one shot kills you!. Also those flying locusts you have to kill with the troika on top of the train took me a good few tries.

Just got to get seriously now . 6500 kills, 3500 to go!   .

I beat all 3 modes a while ago. It took me forever to beat Chapter Four and RAAM on insane.

I have to agree that it was way easier than legendary with Halo 1 or 2.

did the whole thing in order, casual hardcore, insane. then did my domination achievement on insane too !!
