.. not strange at all.

Long before this was released.. back in the days when this was supposed to be a 360 launch title I'm sure plans were made to tell the story in multiple segments. any really good story.. is well planned and conceived ahead of time.

It's far too expensive these days to wing it.

Bill G.: Jeff Bell, you have failed me for the last time!

*to a henchman* Send Jeff Bell to our remote observation outpost in Alaska on the double. By the end of the week, we will also send him his clothes.

Steve B.: Thy will be done, me lord.

I havn't had a chance to play it yet, but am dying to play it after some in game footage i realised i missed. I can't wait and a trilogy sounds amazing. The good thing is, i reckon they could use the same engine, cos if its just a continuation of the same story, the game could be exactly the same with a different story, maybe more advanced mutliplayer or suttin.

I dunno if anyone gets what im getting at, but from what i've seen, its awesome and i don't think they need to change it heaps like what has been done with halo, cos there is a lot of room for error there. I reckon this could really work well

No surprise to me. The ending on GOW is left WIDE open (you know what i mean if you get there).

It is totally setup for a sequel....

agreed.

a trilogy is a nice way to tell a complete story. no rush needed. if nothing else, hardcore fans will be loyal to the series  as long as the game maintains its roots and doesn't go all over the place.

A prequel could be good and they could do pretty much anything they wanted in it, as they haven't exactly overloaded this one with storyline.

This is the most addictive 360 title on Live that I've played since PGR, which is a good thing in many ways, and a bit of a bad thing in others.
