Leaps and bounds easier. Its night an day. You can also get downed and have them come pick you up. Well actually that is if your coop partner is good. but yes its much easier to have another human. As for is it easier or harder game wise? I can't tell you I played on casual on act 1 then insane the rest of the way through. Insane is the best to play coop with the locust use better tactics, I think there are the same number of guys they are just harder to kill.

Yeah, coop is definitely easier, especially when strategy is involved, like flanking turrets and defeating bosses.

Nice, thanks guys.  I've just had a stupid busy schedule lately with no little to no free time. Plus I'll be out of town for Turkey day and another week after that for other family matters.  So hopefully sometime in early Dec. I'll finally be able to have a go at it.  Until then I'll just keep chugging away at the campaign solo, just finished act 3 on hardcore the other day.
