thats not entirely true. its the best so far, every console after being out longer programmers find better ways to optimize the code to the machine. So for now GOW is the hardest pushing most graphics intensive game now. but it will still get better

the graphics are good but there are some parts in the game that look downright horrible. for example the blood. you cannot say that it looks good. however this game is still great and most likely the best game for 360 yet

What's wrong with the blood? And what "parts" of the game look downright horrible, I would like to know?

That more stems from the way they wanted it to look. Not a limitation of the system.

I agree that you'd have to be of poor sight to say that this game is either horrible looking or not graphically impressive.

I have been waiting for this game since it was only a tech demo for the unreal three engine nearly three years ago. I do really like the game, but I am left a little disappointed; mind you not much. But, I think that only stems from the fact that I have built it up so much with all this hype that you can't help but be disappointed.

Having said that, it's an amazing game that I am sure will entertain for a long time.

I can't wait to play co-op  pop.gif

Just watching the review video on gamespot.com made my jaw drop.  My local gamestop got a delay on their shipment and I just picked it up an hour ago.  there were a lot of people pissed yesterday that the copies didnt show up.  I am at work till 6pm and that is like 3 hours away.  I feel a slight flu coming on "cough cough"  I would hate to stick around and get my co-workers sick.  maybe I should go home now. biggrin.gif

i agree with the first post....

the graphics are quite nice but not fantastic, eg the game is pushing the 360 that much that dead bodies still fade?? water doesnt splash when shot?? blood is just a black blod with a bright red rim??

once again a game that didnt live up to the hype.

also the multi player is exactly the same as single player but almost impossible to kill a guy with u machine gun.

i think ill stick to cod3 because that is awsome both on and offline.

What? Man..I don't know about that. If I was a guy who judged games based solely on hype, I'd say this game is actually better than the hype. It is like nothing, anyone of us has ever played before. To be having issues with fading dead bodies and blood color, tells me you're looking for miscues instead of enjoying the game for what it is; a kick-ass killer game, with killer graphics, sound, mood, story, gameplay, heart stopping, pulse quickening, run for your life or your dead, game that it is. Return it or sell it I say, and let someone else have a chance to play greatness.

you didn't play this game at all did you lol!
um the body's do stay they do not fade in fact chunks of body lay on the ground not to mention if you walk up to a body(or parts) you can kick it around with physics and rain bounces off your character and puddles splash...
next time try and play the game before you bash it

how can people complain about the blood and water effects?  it would be like complaining that the characters are too big to be real.  the whole point is to offer different gameplay besides run and gun.  the idea of having to take cover or your dead adds a whole new dimension.  there will always be people who are not happy with whatever, majority loves the game.  My vote is with the majority.

on another note, the graphics and gameplay exceeded what most people were looking for.  that is a fact, read the reviews.

inavative means a totally new feature,
a new engine is not a feature its an engine that doesnt make the game new or excting......
next please

A new game engine isn't a new feature? Get outta' here.

Cod = Cod 2 = Cod 3 = ..... You speak of innovative.

And how can you tell me what "innovative" means when you can't spell it?

im dyslexic so i cant spell to good anyway.

and no its not a new feature how the hell is it a feature?? its the grounds of the game not the moves/actions u have to perform.

did i say cod3 was innovative?? nope. but they are fun and different. every online game is different, every game mode is different and every single player mission is different and thats what makes cod2 and 3 fun and exciting.
using cover to take out the enemy on every mission on ever map is not fun, new OR exciting....

You might be "dyslexic". In any event, games are meant to be fun, not so much innovative; that's Nintendo's department wink.gif

I enjoy it, though I think I will trade it in for Fear once I have beat it, many others do. To each his own.

No point have a futile battle tongue.gif
