My problem is that this really makes Halo 3 look last gen. If Gears is going to look this polished, the boys at Bungie had best step it up.  unsure.gif

well of course not... you haven't gotten the game yet... I think we are all gonna be amazed when this game hits the shelves... if what they say they've done is true... then alot of developers are gonna have to step it up

If you saw the video at the Gamestop afterdark event then you could see how smooth the game runs and looks.  It will be amazing.

ive watched this trailer 40+ times, im acctually so excited.More so than the release of the 360 itself.

You can't be that dumb.  Halo 3 is far from release how do you know what the final product is going to look like.  Comparing a game that is polished up and ready to go on sale to a game that is 6 to 9 months from release is just stupid.  I'm sure Halo 3 is very unpolished with lots of placeholder textures in its current state.

With that said I do think Gears of war looks very good and can;t wait to get my hands on it.
