Well besides Brute Force, GOW is based on the latest Unreal engine 3 - hence the game should be amazing graphically and physically. Click HERE for the link to unreal's site.

As for storyline, won't know until we play - but if it surpasses GRAW (another tactical co-op shooter) should be pretty amazing (as GRAW is another rival engine - the Valve engine with HDR).

Come november, we'll see! (well you all can - i don't plan to get an xbox360 until i know they're being made with newer manufacturing process - 65nm - and maybe a bit better with cooling too).

That is a true statement. Its just like the movie industrary. Their so called summer blockbusters have come up busted for awhile now. I sure hope the gameing industrary doesnt get as lame as the hollywood studios.

Yeah what's the big hype around all these pricey gaming rigs if by the time the game comes out your hardware is out of date. Gimmie a console over a PC any day imo.

The Wii may be similar to the 360, but theres one things its got that the 360 doesnt. The controller. Thats the 1 reason my friends and I are all gonna get a Wii. Im sure many ppl will agree with me on this one!

And also, If the metal case is the same size as a normal game case, then i'll consider it so it'll fit into my collection, but i don't care for the game enough to get it anyway i think.

I don't think he meant the Wii was copying the 360 but the PS3 was copying off of Wii and the 360.  But i have to disagree, even the controller, while it seems cool, doesn't make me want a Wii any much more.  I'm still PO'd over buying a Gamecube so the big N has to show me something a lil bit better than a new controller.

Game better be great. It is a nice ploy to release it so close to ps3
you are giving the consumer a nice 2nd generation game which will look better than the ps3 1st gen games so the rich little kids will make mommy buy the xbox cause they tend to be graphics whore.
if the gameplay is good it show ms can make a good exclusive game and justifies the 360 for gameplay fans.

i am waiting eagerly on this cause if this game is a letdown its a disaster for MS

I always vote PC over console anyday, and it aint down to the fact that the PC can churn out better sound and graphics. It's the KEYBOARD and MOUSE!!

Basically the XBOX360 is a pretty mean machine for graphics and sound now, so if it had a keyboard and mouse interface for the games, i'd be BOUGHT!

Then again, when GTA3 and Vice City and san andreas came out for the consoles, the PC versions had higher resolution textures (hence better looking game), ability to pump up the AA and AF, AND...5.1 sound and they had used higher resolution sound samples than they had for the console games!!! San andreas looks 100 times better than the xbox on my pc, not to mention the multiplayer mod. (HOWEVER....if the xbox had a keyboard and mouse, that would have been my gaming machine instead of the pc! xbox graphics were bearable).

I think the console industry should deal with this. Because the xbox is now introducing game mods (extra maps, etc....) which was only limited to the pc a while ago. whack in a keyboard/mouse interface and i think a number of pc gamers will be sold! Sorry but you just can't pay a FPS without kbd/mouse. Even my mate who's the dog's bollucks on halo on the xbox, he saw me shift with a kbd and mouse on unreal tournament 2004 and even he said that the pad has limitations compared to that (thats to the people who think they can match kbd/mse with a gamepad).

Also, in a year or so, the PC graphics will take over the XBOX 360 graphics (for a premium) so now while i write this post i'm thinking....nah maybe not. maybe the PC is still the better machine for a serious gamer. Thing is i wanna get onto XBL so bad with an XBOX360. but if theres no kbd/mouse then forget it! I've tried to get used to an analogue pad for years now and i still can't develop any accuracy with those darned sticks!

Actually i dont even know why i started to argue that the console is a viable choice - ive just totted up tens of reasons why a pc is better. why did i start this?

On a side note- a lot of people are not taking advantage of the progressive video output (vga / component) of the xbox and 360. Most of my friends with 360's still use crappy composite video or s-video  cables. People compare the Graphics of PCs to Consoles unfairly.

For example - When I use the tv-out port on my pc's graphics card the PC's image will look like garbage on the TV via s-video  compared to a higher resolution connection.
Whereas  using my VD-Z3 vga adapter to play my xbox games on a monitor or projector at 720p I can get an HD image that rivals my PC's.

Using RF, composite, or s-video with the 360 should be criminal action. The system was made to be played in high-def. I play on a 720p projector at 76" and I wouldn't have it any other way.
