How To Share Files From My Computers Harddrive
« on: December 15, 2003, 08:18:00 PM »

Ok so this guy I know set up my computer and Box so that XBMC would read movie files from my movie folder on my external F: harddrive.  He did the same for music and pictures.  It was working perfect until my computer crashed and I lost everything.  Now I asked if he would reconfigure everything and he said he would but he was going to charge me 20 dollars.  I don't want to pay him this cause I feel that I can figure out how to do it online here.  The thing is he did not use the thing Relax for my PC.  He set it up independintly.   I tried using this program myself but it would not work.  Now if any of you can help me it would be greatly appreciated.  I really need to get this working again.
Thanks
Brad

Save your 20 bucks and just read one of the tutorials.  It's not that hard.

Thank you so much for all the help.  Just curious but how much of the CPU does that relax program take up?
Thanks

1% at most on a 2.3ghz AMD Athlon XP.  Memory footprint is maybe 8MB at it's peak.
