It's allright for those region free games but when you have a console with so much region settings, language settings and cencoring (spell) it take ages to reach here.

Very few things are censored for the uk market though especially since the industry over here clocked the increasing amount of adult-orientated games early and started brandishing games with legally binding bbfc certificates in the late days of the md/snes. This is completely the opposite to the situation in America where they are only now realising the requirement for such standards.

Germany censors everything, and even halted condemned from being released over there, where as Britain just slapped a bbfc certificate on it and released it not only before the rest of Europe got it, but even before the console came out.
