how to connect to the internet using only a xbox and the dsl modem? I have linksbox installed but i do not know how to connect to the internet. <

Yes, Linksboks runs with your dashboard ip setting, but dsl modems are :grr:
Many of them have all Dinamic (DHCP and Dinamic DNS), so you have to work  a bit testing ip settings <
