i think he did but not in the direct way.  if you read between the lines it would seem that its coming to 360.  if reports are true, then the ps3 needs special coding to take advantage of its architecture, there is no way that you woud be able to shair resources between the two games (ninja gaiden 2 and project progressive) as easily as he makes it seem and still have the same high level of performance that he expects from his games.

i would love to shove it in the face of all the ps3 zombies who had their hopes of a ninja gaiden game on their grill.  :P  when those rumors started they spread like wild fire.

Was it just me or did Itagaki just confirm Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360? :P

I posted about this a few days ago.
Not only is Ninja Gaiden 2 already in developement for the Xbox 360,
there are a few other titles as well.
Pick up the Xbox launch guide for the full scoop.

Oh yeah, there's a new Duke Nukem in developement :)

third day is up.  he gives nintendo kudos for going their own route.

also he seems to be saying the same thing from the start.  he talks about how the firmware and dev. software matters as much as hardware and that is why he thinks the 360 is the most powerful next gen console.

we've gone inside the mind of Tomonobu Itagaki and asked him to tell us what games he rates that don't bear the Team NINJA brand. Some of his choices are less than obvious (at least in his favorites), while others are more predictable.

I no longer can figure out what the hell they're trying to do with the numbering, and I don't know which one is which. I don't know what they're trying to do with all of these spin-offs, so this includes Nina: Death by Degrees as well. I don't think it even needs saying, but people should stay away from Tekken. Nothing left to say. I just don't want them to disappoint me any more. It's so annoying. Please don't annoy me any more.

I think he was referring to the side streets the series takes.  Itagaki just makes a seperate game I guess (ie. Ninja Gaiden instead of "DOA: Gaiden"?).  Was Tekken 3 called Tekken Tag Tournament or was that a seperate game too?  Obviously I can't handle anything beyond basic number progression either.  Haha.  Then again, DOA: Code Cronus is coming... unless they change the name.  God (and Itagaki) only knows.

i think what he means is that it doesnt matter which tekken he sees (1,2,3,4, or 5) he doesnt see a difference, they are all rehashed shit.

is he trying to tell namco not to annoy him (and the world) with the tekken series anymore?  if so thats great, i could go on without another tekken game to make my eyes want to bleed again.
