You can't.  It's lame, but I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of them needing to get the game out the door for 360 launch.  However, not many games allow two people on the same box to use Live.  Lame.

Has this ever been fixed? I'm doubting it after recently playing the "Game of the Year" edition but I'm hopeful some fix has been added.
