ok my brother just bought a new xbox cause the sound on the old one broke and i softmodded it for him his new one has xbox live

i have a smartxx ltp opx and nkpatcher and slayers if i run slayers on the new hard drive burn nkpatcher and run it on the old hard drive get the hd key and on the new hard drive run nkpatcher and change the hd key to the old one will that work in my brothers softmodded box
