Big Red One is an entirely different game from COD 2 on x360. Its was made specifically for the xbox/ps2. COD 2 on the xbox360 is kinda like the real call of duty 2 and is similar to the pc version.

A few things to keep in mind.

1. COD2: Game of the year edition comes out next month
2. COD3 comes out in November (I think).

Cod 2: big red one was developed by another company than the original cod developers (infinity ward). Cod 1 and 2 for pc and cod 2 for xbox 360 were developed by infinity ward. Cod 3 is being developed by the different company again.

IMO Infinity ward are the best Cod developers (being the ones that invented the series in the first place) and the console spinoffs for the original xbox and ps2 were not as good as Cod 1 on the pc being completely different games. Cod 2 for 360 however is an excellent game whilst cod 3 is.. well no-one really knows how good it is going to be but from the trailer it looks pretty crappy already.
