I'm trying to make a Xbox which is regulary used on Live to play DVD-movies from any region. I cant modfiy the software on the xbox as that would ban it from Live and I have tried the M$Dash patch for region free DVD's and that didnt work either as the dash was too new.
So, I thought that I had found the solution when I saw that DVDx2 is able to run from a boot disk.
I downloaded the DVDx2 iso from the "usual place" and burnt it on a CDRW.
The cd boots when I put it in the xbox, it starts DVDx2 without any problem but when I switch to the movie-dvd nothing happens! I have tried several movie-dvd's all of which starts when I run them in the M$dash with a dongle, but none starts under DVDx2.
Has anyone experienced the same, or similar, problem? is there any solution?
