the xbox live version of this game lags horribly for me, i always try to host so every else's ping stays low, but there are some games where the host is horrible and it slows everybody else down, also its rediciously hard to get some friends to play with you and there is no private game hosting. there needs to be a patch that comes out or something, in multiplayer theres also no bots or anything like that to play against. i love the single player, but the multiplayer is really ticking me off, anybody else feel the same way?

All you have to do is scroll down and look at all the other threads about cod 2. Everyone basically says the same thing. Online is crap.

The thing is, it's not crap. The gameplay is downright amazing. Unfortunately, the game joining, lobbies (or lack thereof), and terrible lag all detract from the online experience.
