Look at it this way... did you ever play doom2 after doom 3 came out not including the playing for the nostalgia factor

When i got DOOM 3 i hardly played it, i was too busy with four player coop doom 2 to give a fuck.

i wasnt playing it for "nostalgia" either. I never stopped playing doom 2. I thought doom 2 was a way better game than doom 3 is (its also the best in the series) hands down. It was more fun engaging, challenging, interesting. The pretty graphix in doom 3 held my attention for just the first level. Thats it. Thats how it is with every game.

beauty fades.

I dont think rag doll physics is gonna take anything away from the game unless it affects gameplay negatively (which im sure it doesnt).

but thats your thing, we all have the right to disagree.

here's a tip, make your own game with real physics.

I actually thought that was kinda funny

until these next gen systems are actually being used

or until they get real CPU's that can do things like advanced physics and advanced AI

more and more developers are confessing that the GPU's are great but the CPU's of the new systems(both PS3 and xbox 360) are really sub-par in real world performance
