I've been trying to figure out how to get to the diary under the staircase in the lower workshops in Hephaestus. You can see under there, and get the electric gel with telekinesis, but you can't pick up the diary.

For anyone reading this that's going through Hephaestus trying to figure out the code for Kyburz's office, one of the journals you encounter says that the code is Australia Day, I looked this up and Australia Day is January 26. I tried 0126 and it works.

Yea it took me a while but your missing the way in because you probably dont have the brightness turned way up. About 10 feet to the right of the stairs is a sliding trap door in the wall that you have to crouch to get through. I found it because i was checking a body and bumped into it.

There's also a room that has a poster on a column that says Austrailia day is 01-26.
