LOL, I can't believe there is a person on this planet that thinks this demo "sucked ass". I've just been reading through a 32 page thread full of people saying how fucking awesome this demo/game is over at neogaf.com. I personally think this will be the most enjoyable game I will ever play for a long time. I'd be surprised if it didn't get game of the year.

I also loved the demo... and can't wait to pick up my LE copy of the game next week.

As for the dig on Xbox owners... I personally think MGS4 looks like crap. and if Bioshock were PS3 exclusive I'd probably consider buying one to play it.

Considering that Bioshock is the spiritual successor to SystemShock 2, which usually makes it high up on lists of "best games ever made" I think savagepoop just has bad taste in games.

The textures look low-res and muddy, the polygon count looks low, the physics and lighting effects look cheap and unrealistic, the AI looks flat out retarded, the setting is generic and uninspiried and if it follows the trend of past MGS games then it will have a typical whacked out non-sensical storyline coupled with stereotypical 1 dimension characters and a camera system that will make you want to smash your controller against a wall.

That's the impress I get from all of the video/demo footage and having played MGS 2 myself

2K hired the best water effects developers on the planet and tasked them with pushing the envelope to make the best water effects in any game ever.... It would seem that most of the people here, as well as most of the people in the gaming industry agree that they are. If you don't think so there's nothing I can do to change your mind. Nor is there anything I can do to change your mind about this game.

Also when you consider that every publication that has review this game both corporate and private have given it between a 9.5 and a perfect 10 I'd say you're a member of a VERY short list of people who don't like it.

I don't understand how anyone likes or gets excited about MGS... but I do understand that not ever game can please everyone. I can accept that you don't like Bioshock... Why can't you accept that the rest of us do?

Just happened to be channel surfing by G4 and saw Morgan Webb on ATOS so I stopped and watched for a second.  Anyway, they mentioned the early release at Toys R Us.  I would love to have the game now but I'll wait for my LE with my Big Daddy (Major's podcast have info that each one was hand painted.. nice)

She even hinted that she went and picked it up early... hahaha

I think you have your 360 on standard def, move the toggle over to HDTV, because the water effects are OUTSTANDING dude...

i wouldnt bother.  he's just gonna claim to the contrare.  to me it's clear he's a fanboy from his prior posts.  he claims to own both consoles, but prefers PS3??  no one in their right mind would say something like that.  the 360 has roughly twice the amount of exclusives coming to it than PS3 does.  the multiplatform games run better on the 360 which is a proven fact for the time being.  i dont see how he owns both and be so biased when one is clearly better than the other in almost every aspect for right now.  i would be siding with 360 now until the PS3 got its act together if i were him.  

now this all granted.  he may have a preference for the PS3 for w/e reason, but i wouldnt understand why when the 360 is for the time being doing substantially better.

anyways it would just be better to ignore him.  no one is going to say anything he'll agree with.  he'll more than likely counter it and pull something out of his ass that holds no merit or is so backward that we all can laugh at him in the end.
