Rubix, sure Halo 2 introduced some things, but in a lot of peoples opinions, its how it was presented that was flawed. We all have our own thoughts on the series, and theres nothing anyone can say that could change my mind about halo 2. It was one of the biggest letdowns Ive ever experienced in gaming. I am not allowing myself to even think about part 3 so I dont get hyped for it, end of story.

I think I can fit an EA logo under Triumphs pile of poo in my sig

halo 2 was vastly improved over halo in multiplayer and graphics.  i don't care about story and single player.  if halo 3 is good multiplayer, i'm there.

Im the opposite, I didnt give a crap about mulitplayer, I wanted a story as good as Halo and wanted simple lan/live coop.

Well the great thing is it's all about opinions, everyone is entitled to their own.

I loved Halo and Halo2.  I was super pissed about the cliffhanger, because who wants to wait 4 yrs. for a finished story.  

I personally believed that Bungie was doomed the moment they announced Halo2.  No game can live up to the hype that game had behind it.  Every Halo fan had their own idea of what Halo2 would be like, and most were mistaken on many levels.  

Ah well.  At least this is a BF2 thread. . .

I replied to gorditas earlier comment saying if halo 3 doesnt happen, Bungie is shitlisted because no matter how much I liked Halo, the sour taste part 2 left in my mouth will always linger.

I tell him he can spend his $$ how he pleases.
