Its not like we dont have a reason to hate though, and the main reason why this happens and will continue to happen is because we dont back up our hate with our wallets. Most of us are hard core gamers and still buy this stuff because..............well i dont know why, we just do!

Speak for yourself  laugh.gif I guess Im not hardcore.

I havent bought their product since Andretti Racing for Saturn and that was 10 years ago. I may not be hurting them by shitlisting them, but I sure as hell am not helping their cause either.

I rented Burnout for xbox in 2002, does that count as supporting their payroll?  tongue.gif

Bungie officially goes on the list if Halo 3 ends up being a stinker like part 2 was.

i consider myself a hardcore gamer, liking games that the "average" gamer wouldnt play or appreciate we much (gun valkerie and PDO for ex.) and i havent owned a EA game since road rash on the genesis, and that was when they were a good company.  even IF i ever chose to purchase an EA game i would make sure it was used so the company wouldnt get any of my $$.  i dont see it as EA haters, but more of people protesting with their wallets against BS that happens in the industry.

they stay in limbo  tongue.gif

same goes for Rare, they don't exist to me right now. If it wasnt for Kameo, they'd be on the list. Sadly, its better than PD Zero in my opinion, and thats not saying much.

EA makes some pretty crappy games but they make alot of good ones too. I am also a PC gamer but I do not play as much as I did before due to my Xbox 360 rolleyes.gif BF2 is one of the best multiplayer pc games that I have ever played. Fight Night Round 3 is amazing I am going to buy it this week (I play the demo alot). I am sure EA has made alot more crappy games than good games but come on guys we dont have to hate them that much happy.gif

Let's face it EA makes some of the better games (specially sports, there is no comparrison here)

But something needs to be done about the servers.. and I say we should all be calling MS. We owm the M$ 360, we are paying for Xbox Live and M$ (in my opinion) should be the one responsibly for EA's crapy servers. If EA won't fix it, M$ should force them to use there servers or not allow the game to be distribued

PS.. I bought FNR3 2 days ago and I have only been able to play once online out of 20 attempts

I know what you mean. PD the original was godly, banjo kazooie, also good (when I was about 9 that was).

But since, rare had just, well, become crap.

Bungie's Halo, again great. Halo 2, seemed rushed and incomplete, story was not continued from the books or the original game (big gap). The graphics although good really suffered from pop-ins and basically not as good as the original campain.

I hope halo 3 they take their time with.

I guess I'm confused.  How did Halo2 seem rushed and incomplete?  The story does follow the Halo universe and is centered mostly around the same character's, plus introducing new ones.  It continues the story of Man's war vs. the Covenant, and sheds light on the motives f the Covenant.  It also continues the fight against the flood.  Aren't these all the elements and story from Halo?

Anyways, what does someone with BF2 think of the 360 version?  Is it worth a buy, rent or ignore?  And yes, I am familiar with the anti-EA arguments, so I can live without those.

Thanks!

You are the minority trust me. If you werent there would be no problems with theese games because they would be forced to fix em in order to make money. So "we" didnt include you and Kage! tongue.gif

Right on, Halo 1 and 2 were both good games. My opinion on the 360 BF2 is, I like it just as much and even more, than the xbox version. Looks and feels a bit more polished and the online is very addictive kick ass fun. This and COD2 are the very best I've played online.
