right, 7 stars refers to the difficulty.  i hope that means you only need to finish the game one time on 7 stars to get that achievment.  i'd lose all my hair using every charachter.

i'm a little baffled by some of the posts on this thread.  street fighter anniversary has been available for some time on xbox.  am i the only person pissed off that it was never added to the backwards compatibility list?  i own street fighter II versions on the genesis, snes, gba, 3DO, and xbox.  i shouldn't have to buy it again on 360 when street fighter anniversary should be backwards compatible...but i will anyways. biggrin.gif   i think it will likely be 1600 points.

I am pissed as well, but I am such a big Street Fighter fan that I can look past it. I own more copies of Street Fighter then I care to count. I hope for BC on Anniversary Collection so I can get back on Third Strike...I hope that Hyper is only about 4-800pts and most of all I hope that there is still hope for Street Fighter 4.

BTW AC was an original SF2 not at all like Hyper or any or the original versions of the game. It was all the SF2s mashed up into one...

My ideal AC would have been...all the individual games...would that have been so hard?

as much as I'd really like to play this game on my 360, if it's so much as 1 point over 800 I wont be getting it.

Also what the hell is taking them so long, I know people who could port this game in their sleep, the video we watched shows what looks like a 100% working and complete game and the guy is like "it comes out soon, so within 3 to 5 months"... since when is that "soon"  dry.gif

"SF2 will be available late March" - Sometime in February
"SF2 will be out at the end of April" - Early April
"SF2 will be on marketplace later this month" - May 1st

Anyone else see a pattern?  This has gone on for long enough that I don't care about it anymore.  Initially I would have bought it, but the digital pad on the 360 sucks so bad that I probably won't buy it if its more than 400 points.  I really don't know how you people are putting up with waiting.  I would like to get my hands on some Roboblitz though...

Those achievements seem pretty week, but I guess most xbla games are.

...says the person with barely more then an Arcade Game's worth or points themselves

come back and tell me how weak they are after you're completed arcade mode without so much as getting hit by your enemy once, and earned a spot on the top 100 in the leaderboards.

Sorry there chief.  Not much time for games with finals and projects to do and I just got my gold account recovered after a lot of hastle, but you gotta admit most of those are very easy.  Top 100 is cool though, not that I would aim my sites on that.  The game is fun, but I don't know how long I can stand listening to those age old sounds again.  I hope there is an option to turn off background music.

.. and not to mention just had my 360 for about a month, starting new job, I lost all the points I got from Graw when I got my account recovered yesterday, so sorry Mr. cool gamer point dude with all the time in the world to play.  I haven't bought any xbla games until the other day b/c I wanted to have them on my recovered account.

I'm not knocking you for having a low number of points, just saying that someone who's earned as few XBLA achievmens as you doesn't have a basis for comments on how easy XBLA achievments are to earn.

Man, you'd think they would update the graphics a little. Keep it sprite based but redo the models. Shouldn't take that long to touch everything up a little and make things a little more colorful.

Might as well make Street Fighter 4 in that respect. Re-drawing sprites is tough...you would have to re-draw every frame of every movement over again.

i think the game still looks great. unsure.gif

fingers crossed they do the aspect ratio correctly.  it should nearly fill the screen at 16:9.

For those that are interested I've started a thread for the Saturn converter http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=509748

I did a few hours worth of research today and came up with a schmatic for the converter/ ordered the parts i don't have (mainly the demuxers).

Once the parts come in I'll be diving straight into it beerchug.gif

I think the only way I'll get this game is if they manage to sneak Sheng Long in the character select. You'll know what I'm talking about if you remember the infamous April Fool's issue of EGM from about 12 or so years ago. LOL

I kid; I'm not getting this game, but it is disappointing at how long it's taking MS to release it.   sleep.gif

yes it is very sad, but i am guessing it will be released around e3 time like may 9th or 10th those are my two guesses

That was the best videogame April fools joke ever...too bad there is no Sheng Long. Ryu and Ken's master and Akuma's brother was named Gouken. Gouken and Gouki (Akuma) were both students of Gousetsu...

If you would like to know more...about anything Street Fighter just ask...I have been getting ready to make a comprehensive website for everything Street Fighter (been delayed due to buying a house) ...but I will answer any questions anyone has...
