its sprite based graphics but still a very solid fighter... if you cant play a game because of its graphics, no matter how good the gameplay is, then i feel sorry for you...

Well, I did play these games way before, but now that the 360 is out and I am used to the next-genre graphics, I can't play the sprite typed games anymore. I think Kernal69er is like me too in this kind of case.

There isn't nothing wrong with 2D if it's beautifully made or follows a solid visual design. You guys prefer modern 3D animated movies to older 2D ones? If it works for what you're trying to achieve, it works. People still play Streetfighter in arcades, I have friends who prefer them. In the case of SF on XBL, it's showing its design age more than any limit of 2D.

Yeah it could be the low frame rate of the video capture but it did seem a little faster.
Definately faster than the old school Street Fighter Champion Edition ever was.
Hey Def, I bet one look at my Sega Saturn sprite based Hentai game collection will change your perception of retro gaming laugh.gif

What about Marble Blast?!?  Or maybe Roboblitz?  Something's gotta pique your interest.  Hell, I play more XBLA games then retail games.  Not looking forward to SF2 anymore though.  The digital pad just kills it for me.  Maybe I'll get an arcade stick when they become wireless...

never liked any of that stuff, never will. you have the ability to check my gamercard and see what Ive played, you'll never see any of those in my list. I deleted hexic the day I got my 360, never tried it, it was a waste of hdd space imo.

 pop.gif anyone?

When they were picking their characters at the very beginning those stars at the bottom of the character select screen increase the speed of the game. From the video, it looked like they had their turbo settings on 4 or 5

And I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna play this game until my thumbs are soar

I sure hope this game supports the doa stick by hori cause it gonna suck to try and play that game with the crappy digital pad the xbox 360 controller has.

Can't wait for this, bringing back the old school. I hope they bring Doctor Mario and tetris out, I spent lots of time playing Doc Mario on my XBOX 1.
