Jtagged X360 Dlc Problem
« on: February 02, 2010, 11:20:00 AM »

Hi, I've a problem with my JTAGged Xbox360 /falcon XBReboot 3/ and DLC. I don't know how to make it work.

I bought Left4Dead DLC on Xlive. Now I want to try it on my JTAGged Xbox. I've done this so far:

1)transferred L4D game updates via XeXMenu FTP to Xbox HDD Cache
2)transferred Left.4.Dead.DLC.XXX via FTP to Xbox HDD 0:/Hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/45410830/
3)put l4d game DVD in the drive and ran the game
game updates works fine because I can see "Get the blabla DLC now" in the game menu but DLC itself is not there. I dont know what's wrong.
I've checked DLC in xm360v0.6 and it's marked as unlocked.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks for help.

do you have both update files in your cache folder?

should be good to go if you do.

Yep, I've all game updates in my XBOX cache folder.

I'm really desperate now.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Having similar problems.

My Borderlands DLC works great.

Forza 3 not so much.

Civilization Revolution DLC kinda works.  Out of the 6 I transferred from my other hard drive, one works.

I'm having problems with Left 4 Dead 2 (can't get either Sacrifice or Passing to work, both show "unsupported or corrupt downloadable content"

I had similar issues with Borderlands, and worked out eventually that because I was using a GOTY edition disc with 'Standard' DLC it wasn't working, popped in the 'normal edition' disc and it worked fine.

Currently I've checked Left 4 Dead 2 and seen that my disc has the media ID 0E79403B and my TUs are using the same media ID - and the 3 new episodes show up on the title screen / level select so the TUs are working, all I can think is my DLC has a different media ID it's locked to possibly? I tried using Yaris to clear the console ID and it didn't fix it.
Is there a tool that will show which media ID DLC is compatible with?
