Call Of Duty 7 (working Title)
« on: November 09, 2009, 12:41:00 AM »

Treyarch is developing the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, rumored to be set during the Cold War.

Well I had it with the COD game's I'll get MW2 but like I said I played every game there is for COD, so Battle Field 2 here I come for Sure. If you want A tank to look like one and feel like one Battle Field had this always COD got noting on BF in 2004 and 2005 no games like COD could stand up to it and not even to day. Get in that tank on a PC then tell me how you feel about COD Vs BF because BF is the winner for tanks.

If there's no tanks in the coming game in 2010 I don't even want to here or see it. why because I played team death match and CTF over 10 Years, no More for me PC all the way that is if you got money.

Coop any game it could be something stupid and I'll take it over D, TD and CTF any day

NO MORE D, TD, CTF, SAD or what ever you want to call it because it's all the same thing.

The thing that always bothered me about BF series was how fast EA closes down old servers like how there arent servers anymore for Tiger Woods 2005. I tried to get into match for bad company other day and couldn't. I do wish xbox live had dedicated servers like EA, but on the other hand having people host games means games will always be there as long as people are playing. I wish dice ran dedicated servers.

Not sure why you couldnt get into a BF Bad Company match, because tons of people are still playing it

I like the call of duty series and will buy MW2 but it is apparent that we are starting to get the same old thing, just slightly tweaked and is becoming boring. I enjoyed BF's big maps and war like gameplay with helicopters, tanks, snow mobiles, etc.. etc.. just which they would fix the control scheme to match COD (since COD has the controls down packed)

Yet none of them will ever compare to BF1942, BF2, and BF2142(except for the cheaters) on the PC! Even BF1943 on live was better than any xbox BF, COD.

Nothing beats Flying a harrier jet with a 360 and bombing tanks!

FAIL. This next call of duty is definitely going to be an EPIC FAIL, just like anything Treyarch makes.

I thought the zombi maps were definitely worth the price.   Kinda wish they'd keep putting them out via XBL arcade.

IMO COD 5 wasnt too bad, the MWF's blow it out of the water but it passed time. Since i got MWF2 COD 5 has been played about 2 matches.... I like the bolt actions not these high powered machine guns that mow anything and everything down. And semi auto snipers that you could mod, makes no sense to me. There are more ups then downs IMO...

Personally I'm not a fan of Treyarchs's iterations of COD but i did find Nazi Zombies especially awesome(my whole reason for purchasing the game).  What I would rather see is a full blown game of Nazi Zombies; it could have even a story behind it and allow for a 4 player(or more??) co-op through the whole story and then have other modes including the one that we are accustomed to.

you guys are losers. can't you give them a break? its as if people WANT them to fail, which is retarded. i love when companies make better games

the cold war ERA would include the war in korea, vietnam, berlin wall, cuban missile crisis, etc

I dont get why everyone hates on COD5 so much anyways. Sure, its not as good as MW or MW2, but overall its not a bad game, especially compared to all the other shitty games out there. Nazi zombies was a brilliant idea and they have to be given props for it.

I also like the guns in COD5 because they're NOT all kick ass and they take a little more skill then the ones in MW1 + 2

Yeeee, great choice, COD is very over-rated. Don't get me wrong, I love the 3rd and 4th COD's a lot and MW2 is okay/ addicting but filled with faggot modding 10 year olds. However, Battlefield 2 on PC was by far the most brilliant war game I have ever seen. I don't care what anyone else says, this game had EVERYTHING! The only problem with putting so much into a game requires players to have a really good PC as the game was so system intensive. bad company was dope too, I don't remember playing it much cause it came out during one of my more intense oxycontin drug binges, but I just remember that the onlything that mattered was getting oxy, then sittin back and playing this game. I hope that they can successfully combine the versatility/complexity of battlefield 2 PC with the good plot/multiplayer set-up on BC2, and have it be very smooth and user friendly on the 360, and much less CPU/GPU intensive on PC.'s.  BC2 will sadly probably not do nearly as well as MW2 did, but none the less I see nothing but good for the battlefield series if EA decides to continue building it up. Except for 2142, they gotta drop that POS...
