Well I know this game series had a following since it's PS2 years.  Not quite as large as most, but a kinda niche following among importers, and some people in the U.K.  I also know that ever since the game debuted on 360 in japan people been wanting a localized version which has happened for the U.S., but the only thing that is unclear is whether or not it would be region free.  Many have assumed not, and for that reason the fans who want this particular iteration of the series has lost interest.  This mostly applies to the U.K. which hasnt seen a release yet.  Well since no one has reported this info I came across I shall post it for those interested in the game for everyone to know.......It's region free.

Also there is no game specific board for this game to post this info at, so i found the general board to be a more suitable posting option for it.

i just want to give everyone a heads up that the japanese version of this game is NOT region free, so anyone looking to import into your region, make sure you get the us version.

^^Yeah I should have made that a little clearer about which version was region free, even though my link points to the U.S. version of the game, and I mentioned the games localized rename in my topic subject line.  I more or less hinted at the U.S. version indirectly otherwise, but as Reaper pointed out the U.S. version only is region free.  Japanese version will need either a Asia, or Japanese console to play it.  So sorry for any possible mix up.
