Updates Messing Up Games

Hi, today i encounterd problems again after i updated. This time it was wit cod5. after updating my savegame wont load anymore, so i had to start the mission al over again, thnx is was playing on veteran grr.gif

But i have a even worse example, after i applied an update for NFS Pro Street is cant play the game anymore. The error i get is that the game version is not compatible with profile data, so the game wont boot. How can this be possible?
