Plus Infinity Ward didn't have anything to do with COD4 what so ever which makes it in some way not part of the series. Just correcting your message, since Infinity Ward worked on COD2 and COD4, it was COD3 that they didn't work on... your post says they didnt work on COD4 when they did, which is why it was good, not like COD3

Wow...just wow. Didin't see GTA IV mentioned enough. Guys the GTA series has spoiled us. Do you remember how awesome and ground breaking GTA III was? I think GTA IV is even MORE groundbreaking. It brings a whole new realism and amazing storyline. Plus we forgot the little things like the addition of the duck and cover(GoW) system. We also forget that almost every single object in GTA IV is moveable....about how every single crash, explosion, etc. is different. Give this game it's due.

If you say yeah but its just like GTA III then PLEASE go back and play the previous GTA games. Then you will realize just how good GTA IV was. Not too mention the DLC content...that IS part of the game guys. In GTA IV you are basically getting 3 games. I just don't get it....I guess at first glance it isn't gimicky enough for your average gamer that wants 50 different guns and outfits. This moves from that crap and adds the deeper more realistic side.

These aren't necessarily the BEST games, just the ones I had the most fun playing or played the most.
I mean I probably played NCAA Football 09 the most pure hours, but it needs drastic improvement to be a GREAT game. 2K5 was BY FAR the best football game ever and Madden still blows, but stupid EA has to own the world.

Anyways I am playing Prototype right now and it is definitely going to be in my top ten.

GTA IV is number 1 for me by far. I get the Halo 3 criticism, but I have never played a Halo storyline it is strictly multiplayer for me and I played it a lot so I included it. Anyone not including GTA IV please go back and play GTA III so you can appreciate this game. I am telling you guys if you look at the subtle, little things you will realize this is a masterpiece.

Favourites would be different but games such as gta4 and cod4 etc are on other platforms.
