i was on the bestbuy website and they had a release date for it on 3/3/08 ... just curious  wink.gif

The latest official date from R* is "it will be done when it's done"

Does it really matter? I'd rather they take their time to make an awesome game than rush to meet some superficially set release date. Besides there are way too many awesome games to play now GTA4 now would be too soon IMO.

I don't really care on how long they take since they already backed the release date a dozen times. I was just curious since best buy had a release date for it. And yea they should take their time with a great title as GTA

yeah most of those dates are arbitrarily set by the stores just so they have something in there system...

if you look on gamestop's website there is usually a slew of games set to release on the first day of a particular month. This isn't really a release day just an arbitrary "future date" set so the computer has something to organize it by... as the date gets closer (usually within a month or two) and no official date is set everything without a real date will get a new fake date further in the future.
