Limited Time Price Cut on Select Xbox LIVE Arcade Titles

Beginning at 12:00 a.m. GMT on Wednesday, September 26 (5:00 p.m. PDT on Thursday, September 27) and continuing through 11: 59 p.m. GMT (4:59 p.m. PDT) on Tuesday, October 2, the following Xbox LIVE Arcade games will be available at a discounted price:
* "Bankshot Billiards 2" (PixelStorm) - 900 Microsoft Points (normally 1200 Microsoft Points)
* "Frogger" (Konami) - 300 Microsoft Points (normally 400 Microsoft Points)
* "Hardwood Spades" (Silver Creek Entertainment) - 300 Microsoft Points (normally 400 Microsoft Points)

Also coming this Wednesday is "Bomb-Up Pack 2," the second add-on pack for "Bomberman Live," available for 250 Microsoft Points.

they're testing the waters I think...

the last limited price cut, knocked the prices down by half...

it obviously did well so they're testing the waters by knocking the prices down 1/3rd

I owned most of the games that went on sale last time but I bought one more just to show my support of price cutting arcade games.

This time, besides the fact that none of these games interest me, I wont be buying because I'd rather vote for 50% off games than 33% off games.

I'd be willing to bet we'll see a large chunk of XBLA games go on permanent discount in the near future pending the figures from this sale.

This is not enough of a break, I bit last time but not with these prices. I would have gotten BB if it would have been half price but 900 points is too much.

I missed the last price cut. I disagree with you guys about not supporting this one though. Clearly, if this one does well, it would be nice to see new XBLA Games get released at 300 points instead of 400.

In the case of this particular set of games, I think I am going to grab Frogger. It's a Classic and I played the 'Tiral Version' so it gets me angry that it shows up with no achievements.

Hint:

On Xbox you could play Frogger in any one of its many incarnations, exactly as they played on the original arcade machines. You could be playing the machine George Costanza never got to play on Seinfeld.

And it wouldn't cost you a dime.

i agree with those above that these games need to be released with a larger price cut and if supporting this cut helps, then count me in...XBLA is genius and really helps with the 360 online experience...

I like how Hudson can spend allot of time adding new packs for Bomberman Live, yet seem completely unable to fix the bugs & AI issues in the game that have existed since it was released. I bought the first pack, and felt screwed. I really don't need to buy anymore.

I am sure you meant 1/4th... All prices have been reduced by 25% only...
