Don't be so closed minded. I have always been a big Halo fan and love Halo 3, but you should check out some other games as well. There are alot of stellar games out right now. I would know... I'm going broke because of it.

I finally got my Forza 2 LCE in last night... it's not a metal case but it's easily one of the nicest/most solid carboard cases I've ever seen. the case is a a thick hardcover book like materal with special collectors edition version of a regular snap case and a booklet roughly the same thickness as a DVD case that has a single page dedicated to each and every car in the game with stats and pictures... it's really nice of course the whole thing has a plastic slip cover like many other LEs...

I also got my Mass Effect Limited Edition in along with the special pre-order bonus disc... it's comes in a GOW style tin and is much nicer than I thought it would be.

Even better is after calling my local Gamestop nearly daily for a 12 days they finally got more pre-order art books for Assassin's Creed in and I snagged one... so now my AC LE doesn't feel so cheap and empty the case is actually filled like it should have been from the get-go. The artbook is really nice too.

I was going to post a picture last night but I was too lazy.. I might take a picture tonight if I've got time.

... I've been debating starting a website (maybe a sub-division of thoughthead.com or solid-orange.com) dedicated to special edition game release... basically a detailed list of all included items release date, price, special provisions to get it, etc. I've also considered maybe some cool features like a user scoring system or a value tracker where I'd estimate the eBay resell value every 6 months or something.

I don't know is this something people would be interested in seeing?

I sold off a lot of games, I couldn't justify just keeping them for a collection anymore. I hope the Two Worlds patch is good, because I actually enjoy the game and plan on finishing it sometime, which is the only reason it didn't get traded.

They didn't officially announce the CE until a few weeks before the release but there were a lot of strong rumors.

the ONLY place I saw it for sale was the EB/Gamestop website. Even the physical stores were not carrying it (this was intentional, for what reason I don't know).

Also EB/GS got an exclusive pre-order bonus disc (which you can see the corner of off to the side in the 2nd picture and the )...

Since you couldn't get the CE in the store and they were the only ones carrying the pre-order bonus I basically had the option of pre-ordering through the website... or nothing at all. I was originally grumbling at the idea because of the risk of damage during shipping plus the added cost of shipping but they offered free shipping and the only damage was a small chip in the top corner of the slip cover which I don't like but I keep telling myself it could have been a whole lot worse

I only sleep 4-5 hours a day during the week (no joke) I catch up on weekends where I'll sleep for 10

and before anyone starts up about health issues I've been doing this for about 7-8 years now and during that time I've only been sick once, and otherwise completely healthy...
