Squaresoft's loss, I love final fantasy but am not paying $600 to play it, I barely have time to play my current 360 and PC games, scratch that, I don't have time, I can do without FF if they refuse to bring it to 360. I currently play GOW and WoW, once Halo 3 comes then I'll really have no life. Enjoy lower sales Enix.
FF is about the most repetitive game you could ever think of. Do a fight, cure cure cure, run around fight, cure cure cure, find items, go sell. Fly around, land, run around for random fight, cure cure cure. Repeat, repeat. FF 2 for SNES and FF7 for PS are the only FF games I ever beat or liked.
Right - every game is gonna have repeatition to some degree, but with shooters, sports, and racers, the repeatition is more so than it is with Final Fantasy. In Final Fantasy, there are tons of sidequests and other things you can do in the game to make it last longer and feel less linear and repeatitive. I'm sure some of the Final Fantasy games have multiple endings too (or at least different paths you can take). Basically, Final Fantasy isn't exactly as straightforward and simple as most Xbox games are.
