Quake III Team Arena on XBLA?

The ESRB is becoming a better resource for leaking Xbox Live Arcade titles than we could have dreamed. This time, it's an entry for Quake III: Team Arena. Granted, the Xbox 360 is not short on shooters, but Quake III is one of the best. Quake III provided some great multiplayer thrills back in tha' day, and it would be a perfect addition to Xbox Live Arcade, especially at a budget price. Quake III is graphically more sophisticated than most XBLA titles, so it's a safe bet that the game will utilize the new 150MB size limit.

Well... sounds nice but im a so called quake-player (amateur) but im sure this wont work at all without a mouse. I love halo and other ego-shooter on consoles/360, they work good.. but Q3 without a mouse/precise rocketjumps/circlejump/strafejump it wont be the same!

I want them to put C&C Renegade on Xbox Arcade. That game isn't so big and it was one of the best first person shooters I have ever played!

Unfortunately, that was the first time I played it.

I wasn't really into shooters back in the day.

This would be neat, but I can't see myself paying for it. As someone above said, without a mouse it just wouldn't be the same. If it were a free homebrew version, sure I'd probably download it.

You do realize though, if they do make it, you will only be playing against other people with controllers.  Therefore, the unfairness is mostly removed in that department.  I know playing Quake 3 on Xbox 1 (which pitches me against mostly keyboard/mouse users), I rarely ever get better than third place in a big game, and I am fairly good at Halo/2, so the disadvantage would probably be less defined in an XBLA verssion.

isn't there an xfps for the 360? keyboard and mouse till your hearts content.

Secondly, I didn't much like Q3A, I'd much prefer to see Doom 2 and Quake 1 & 2 on xbla before quake 3.

Thats STUPID 150mb?

I use to play Quake III back in THA day. and it was WAY MORE than 150mb... 600 atleast

Not including all the cool mods like Freeze Tag, Urban Terror, Bid For Power, Exessive

I have a PC version right next to me... so why would I want to buy it AGAIN, without MODS?

Plus it BETTER support PC - XBOX360 online gameplay because the XBOX port can.
