Root Beer Tapper is up on the live arcade. I remember playing this classic back on the commodore. Ahhh the nostalgia

Such an awesome classic. These are the kind of games they need to be bringing to arcade (though I do appreciate the originals.)

i think this shit should stay out of the arcade. i really think they should focus on new titles and new ideas. the 360 was sopposed to be simulating and inhale of fresh air, so far its just been the smell crappy rehashes that have been played a million times. the tilt at my mall went out of buisness for a reason. nostolgic fun lasts for about 10 minutes. like that friend you have that always brings up the story about when you passed out and puked all over car. ive played and heard it, bring me more games like assault heroes! (insert suiceide bomber ahhh lalalala)

I agree that new titles are key to XBLA's success, but it would be unfair to say that old classics don't belong. Almost all of the top selling arcade games are old classic or rehashed games. Stuff like SFII, UMK and UNO. Gamers have voted with their dollar and they want the classics.

I wouldnt mind some more 2d fighters. Some guilty gear or King of Fighters. Metal slug is also a fun little game to pass the time
