Finally the keyboard mouse vs controller accuracy can be tested. This will be fun to see.

I really think it is a bad idea for M$ to put the same games on both pc and 360. Hell then why would someone buy a 360? I think M$ will lose customers with that plan. Bad idea to me.

Are you kidding me?  A computer with the associated hardware to run games comparable graphics wise to the 360 would literally cost 5 times more than the console... and then you have to pay for software on top of that.  XBOX Live Anywhere will not steal any business away from the 360, just simply bring more users under the Live umbrella.

As of now, very few games are going to be available on both platforms. MS wont lose potential 360 buyers because people who want a 360 will most likely want it for games other than those available for pc.

MS makes money regardless because if Im not mistaken, they are the publishers for the games that will be on both beerchug.gif

They make a Hell of a lot more money(profit) by selling a copy of vista and a game they published, compared to selling a 360 and that same game. They got rich from selling software/windows, not consoles.

I really think the platforms should remain separate.  I think trying to merge them will only cause problems on both ends.

Have you priced a video card lately? Some video cards by themselves cost MORE than the entire 360 and you still don't have the rest of the PC.

Really? Is this similar to trying to get your pc, xbox, tv, cell phone, pda, etc to work together? If there's anything big business has learned is people [in the US at least] like integration (Google "Modded Xbox"). Making it happen is where they problem lies.

Same games out at the same time!!! ha!! I bet us 360 owners still get screwed cause everyone knows the pc versions are gonna be cheaper and have free content and better patches and controls!!

Why do i even own a 360????? All my games are coming out on either PS3 or PC now, MS are making this thing worthless.

I'm getting abit concerned by the whole gaming world at the mo! MS want world domination but are shooting themselve in the foot, PS3 is going to fail because SOny spread there wings to far and can't see the floor and Nintendo just can't release a descent game anymore!! Come on Zelda on the WII just ain't that good!! it just ain't....

But GEARS stilll ROCKS i suppose!!! Be better on PC tho!! and cheaper..Next gen i'm just not bothering with a console.

I don't get this strategy at all.  Microsoft is essentially owning the console industry here in America at least, but giving those with computers no reason to buy a 360 at all.  Is their goal just to sell live subscriptions?

MS just wants more control over PC gaming (like they don't already have enough dry.gif )

Well probably see some sort of push for an xbox live-ish network that you are charged a fee to play on.  I don't need more multiplayer features than I already have on PC, and I certainly don't want to pay for anything else. dry.gif
