Turns out Virtua Fighter 5 isn't a PlayStation 3 exclusive, as Sega announced today that the title is also headed to Xbox 360.
Sega said that the title will hit Microsoft's console in late summer 2007 in North America and Europe. The arcade-native fighter is scheduled to arrive on PS3 on February 20 in North America.

These sony exlusives are dropping like flies. This is one less reason for me to get a ps3. Now all we need is final fantasy and I will have no reason to get a ps3 at all.

cool to see it coming to the 360 but, it's still a few months late. peter moore used to work for sega (as most of you know), he gotta still have some hookups there, or maybe this is his hookup?

Sweet. Frist the news about Metal Gear solid a few dasy ago and now this.  If we could only hope for a few more Final Fantasy games (not the 5 year old MMORPG that we have) and maybe Forza 2 will be able to compete with Gran Turismo so that the only reason to get a PS3 would be the Blu-Ray player.  Hahah

Hopefully this isn't a straight port from PS3  to Xbox 360. I hope they take the time to optimize Virtua Fighter 3 for the 360 as the PS3 has a completely different architecture from the 360.

If they have online support for the 360 version (ps3 doesn't), this won't help Sony at all.  All those analysts predicting that the PS3 will eventually come out on top?  Yeah, they were wrong.

Yep,this isn't looking good for the Sony Camp. With all the news of developers frustrated with the PS3 and the sheer lack of numbers sold so far, what few exclusives Sony thought they had are slipping away fast.Never underestimate the power of MONEY.The Devs are realizing they can make more by having their games on the 360 as well.

The PS3 version is offline so i hope they add online mode for the Xbox 360.

There was a rumor that Konami was going to make MGS4 for the 360 as well.So far one part of Konami denies it while another group won't give a definite "NO". Sorta what happened with Assassin's Creed... cool.gif
Not that I hate Sony but if they loose MGS4 to the 360 I look for the PS3 to sink faster than the Titanic. As someone else stated,it will only be good as a cheap Blu-ray player.

Well, I've read this over at xboxyde:

"Kikizo can reveal that early code is running on 360 right now and that 360 owners will, apparently, benefit from the additions and refinements that will be made to the 'Version C' arcade revision, while the PS3 version will be based around the imminent Version B."
