Gears, Oblivion, Dead Rising, Either Call of Duty (I prefer 2). Any of those in that order are your best bet. Gears is so fucking incredible.

If you want a game that lasts a long time like COD2, then stay as far away from GOW as possible.  It only took me like 5 hours to beat on Casual.  Insane is taking a bit longer, but not much.
