in my opinion cod3 is much better online than cod2. servers can fit up to 24 players and the maps are just the right size!

region free means just thtat. you wont have any problems.

but COD2 has way tighter controls, COD3 controls are too loose and feel more arcady

In my opinion call of duty 2 has better online with the exeption of being able to have more players at once in call of duty 3.

I tried playing four player split screen and the games graphics are so toned down they look terrible. The gun models and textures have all been turned into blobs of color. Whenever someone is killed it lets you know right in the middle of your view and you can't turn it off. Also when trying to get a ranked match it just keeps waiting for players, have not been able to get one yet.

I am playing this game in HD so that is not it, also when playing system link with cod2 it has far superior graphics.

I was really looking forward to this game online but it did not come thrue online for me.

The campain is good but it just missing something, I can't quite put my finger on it.

war mode is what makes me like cod3 more than 2... kinda like conquest mode in battlefield 2 or day of defeat. my advice to you is to open that bastard up.

My advice is if you are really good and enjoy CoD2 MP, you'll be rather let down by CoD3's MP (graphics and game feel).

But if you want one hell of a SP experience, then CoD3 fills the ticket.

Wow, am I the only one that thinks it looks better? And I mean a lot better.

I put Cod2 in right after playing 3 and the difference was pretty dramatic.

We are referring to the MP, no SP. CoD3's MP looks like shit compared to CoD2's MP. Low res textures, no next-gen lighting, and picture is way too dark.

I agree with Heet, I think the MP looks great 10X as much detail as CoD2. There are 2 bad things about it though, first you cant party in ranked matches, whats the fun of just randomly joining people to play one game. I like to play with people I know so we can work better, and ranked matches are the place to know your team. second the ranked matching takes FOREVER. I waited 30 mins yesterday to be dropped into a battle game, when I was looking for a capture the flag game, I really hope there is a MP patch soon to fix it. at least its not laggy like CoD2 was at first.
