Just downloaded fifa 2007 from the market place and i thought id be in for a great surprise as i think the xbox version is the best version of fifa yet.the game play is sweet and the graphics look really good ,even down the the grass texture and colour.
Arrgh couldnt beleive the  xbox 360 version looks horrible and plays the same the menu is totally different and isnt as quick to navigate and it just dosnt feel good and the silly mini game is back at the loading screen.
why why why ,this game is totally different from the other systems 2007 version ,it though we would have a highly polished version  with more poligons and in high def .
This is a totally different looking game (worse in my opinion)

Fifa series games are usually graphically nice but playability is crap. Pro Evo pisses all over it for long term, more realsitic gameplay.

What were you playing it on, your imagination?  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The game play, for fifa, is a huge leap from 2006. Firstly, it feels a hell of a lot more like a ball, rather than a magic sphere that dances with the player. The graphics are definitley next gen, i was playing them at full resolution using a VGA cable to my PC monitor, very nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (although some of the faces look nothing like the people, not the any soccer game has really had that spot on yet lol). The defensive AI seems a lot tougher than last years, its very hard to get in the box at all on professional upwards. I agree with the weird ass menu system, but EA are using it on all their Next-Gen games this year. What does suck about 07 (or at least the demo):-

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  You cant do stepovers, shoulder drops or anything in the demo involving skill (this will be in the final game though)?!

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  Keepers still make some awful mistakes.

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  Offensive AI is not that amazing.

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  Although a huge leap from 06, the gameplay still aint PES.

Two big sad faces... that deserve sad faces.  Although I do make some (okay... a LOT) awful mistakes in goal too... then again I'm not a pro (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

But seriously, no stepovers?  Wow... and I can't even pull off a spin with Ronaldinho?  Also.... I find switching players VERY hard... sometimes you want to rpessure with one player but can't switch to him.  And players are split way too easily... and throughballs are really bad sometimes.  
Oh course Ronaldinho still bends the ball crazily, though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nah not in the demo, such a weird thing to not have available, the Right / Trick Stick is the one that will allow you to perform tricks, but in the demo its kind of like an awful sprint stick (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif). I read in a EA blog somewhere that the skill stick will be properly implemented, and that there should be a "diverse amount of available skills this year".

yeah selecting players seems pretty messed up and through balls are far harder to perform this year, for better or for worse i cant decide.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif)

I wish konami would slap some Next Gen graphics onto PES 6 for its release, then hey presto, the best football game ever invented (bar from sensible soccer lol)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif) .

I like it, takes a bit of getting used to but gameplay is pretty good. Little too fast to be realistic. Graphics were a little dissapointing, especially the crowd looks awful. But this is the demo from E3 apparently so alot of little things will be different for the final game next week, can't wait.
