Call Of Duty 2 Freezes

Probably a scratched disk.  Due to, perhaps leaving the disk in the dvd drive and moving the console from horizontal to vertical.

That is what happend to my brothers, and it effected both MP and SP maps.

If there is not scratched disc or a bad copy of the disc it could be a corrupt game save. I was able to play through call of duty 2 all the way to the end.

To fix this you would need to delete your game save and start from scratch if thats the case sad.gif

I would agree with either one of those answeres as possibilities.

Often scratches can be small enough that you can't see them yet large enough that they cause lockups... Scratches on the LABEL will without a doubt kill the disc.

Also the cases for  COD2 are garbage, check to see if there is any cracking of the disc around the hole.

Same thing happened to me once.  I just replayed the level and then it loaded the next up just fine.  Was strange.

I would try clearing the cache on the 360.  It accomplishes the same thing that clearing the cache on the Xbox did.... sometimes.
