Totemball Horrible Movement Sensing?
« on: October 04, 2006, 10:37:00 PM »

Ive tried a good 10+ times to get this friggn game to work decently, everytime I have failed. I have my lights and nothing moving in the background but no matter what the motion sensing plain sucks. I can completely leave the screen and still both sides of the waterfall keep freaking out like im throwing both my arms up and down like a crazy man on crack. Ive also messed with the lighting set up in the system menu but get the same results.. Anyone else have any problem like this?

...same problems here, it looks like it may be intended for a completely dark background, I think my Michael Myers doll was making it freak out tongue.gif ....the "bars" in the waterfalls look like they kept jumping to whatever was light or white in the background(myers face), I'll experiment another day, too tired after work to be flailing my arms LOL!

Hey guys I had the same problem the first time I did it the secret is when it first tells you to put your hands in the waterfalls keep them very still, its incredible how much better they get once it recognizes your hands, when it says to like put them on the hands in the waterfall and just keep them there than when it tells you to move them move them. Makes 1000% difference in movement recognition.

I don't know, I made it to the second level pretty easily.  Arms were tired by then though.  I personally didn't have any problems getting the bars in the waterfall to go where I wanted.  But then again, I'm only sitting about 6 feet from a 61" tv with the camera positioned on top of it. tongue.gif

I also noticed that when your first getting your hands in position as mentioned above, it kinda zoomed in on me when my hands wern't close enough to the waterfalls, like it was self adjusting or something.
