Condemned was definitely impressive, I could play that game over and over again, the sense of anxiety and fear the game made you feel while playing it is unparalleled even when I KNOW what's around the corner  laugh.gif

that was a surprising game for me, before launch I was kind of "meh" about it because I'm not big on games with an FPS control style and it looked pretty boring from the screen shots I saw. I ended up buying it for the box art because I had an extra $60 to burn on launch day (since DOA4 was delayed) and I bought it just because I liked the adventure horror concept and the box art looked cool...

I'm glad I did buy it because it's hands down my favorite game on the 360  love.gif

I agree, condemned was a really nice suprise.  When I saw it in the store I didn't even give it a second glance.  However, once I downloaded the demo I was sold.  The graphics were detailed and had high quality texturing, the story was interesting and the gameplay was innovative with the detective work, melee weapons and non-replenishable ammo supplies.  Condemned in HD and 5.1 with the lights turned off is truly one of the most intense video game experiences to be had.

NFS Carbon.  I know its just the demo but from what ive seen what you see is pretty much what you get with the demos.

I especially like it when the demo has a shitty framerate, then the game comes out and it may as well be a demo.

NFS:Carbon. I've liked almost every NFS game so far (even the underground series!) and I was just blown away on my first attempt playing NFS:Carbon at how bad it is.

I was dissapointed with Farcry for 360. I'm not really into companies releasing updated ports or xbox 1 games, unless it's drastically improved. It just felt the same as the xbox 1 farcry (which I played through already) with not many improvements.

Having said that however, i will be buying Half Life 2 for xbox 360 when it comes out. This is probably one of my favorite games, I have it for both the PC and xbox 1 and am looking forward to playing it through again as well as episodes 1 and 2.

Overall though I've been pretty pleased with the games so far. I love a lot of the games listed here as dissapointments. (GRAW and Dead Rising specifically).

At what point did the game go downhill for you?  I'm playing through it right now and I'm loving it.  That Makoto character was really ruining it for me in the beggining, but now that he's out of the picture I thought the game was shaping up nicely.  This is the first japanese turn based RPG we've seen on either xbox so that alone is making it an enjoyable experience for me.  Does it really get that bad?

N3 was a dissapointment for me

Before it came out i heard that it would have online co-op

I haven't played it yet, but i've been turned down by it since i heard that it wouldn't have online co-op

Is N3 a good game otherwise though?

Playing Graw on a nice chair, with a nice HDTV and a Nice Soundsystem makes all the diffrence, I loved it. But the games that dissapointed me were PDZ the most, Its too Childish for some reason, I Never played The original PD so i was never hyped up for the new one, but seeing all the clips and shots kinda got mein, and been a launch title over here I thought it would be worth the cash, Sadly mistaken.

Oblivion for life.

I wouldn't be too worried. I finished the game and all the side missions and thought the game was great. Certainly not a 5* RPG but it was fun. There are some dull parts in the middle but if you can get through those the game gets pretty interesting and fast paced in the final 40-50%.

im approaching major dissapointment with just cause. the gameplay is very frustrating. not being able to shoot out the car is retarded and hindering. why wouldn't they include this? for fucks sake!!

kinda funny how things worked out opposite for just cause/saints row.

I thought SR would be the dissapointment. Far from, really....

I'm sure most of you already know this, but there are a-lot of resources out there to do research on games and see what gliches or gay things are flawed w/ all these 360 games.  But for the most part video games are like movies.  Are all movies good?  No.  But, if the movie has a good plot / great actors / good action / but.... one of the chase scenes was unrealistic... does this make the game a bad one?  I don't think so.

ie:
Dead Rising - ok so some of the AI is a-little jacked.  Still a great concept / graphic art / and gameplay.
StarWars Lego's - a complete underdog I believe.  It knocked my socks off when I first played it & it was in the top ten game seller list on all consoles (all done w/out hypeing the game)
Saint's Row - the game takes GTA (almost identically) and tweaks it to a new lvl.  Yes multiplayer does suck... but still a great game.

Conclusion:
really think about what you are calling a crappy game before you post.  b/c we all know that consoles get ALOT of crappy games over the years, but no sense branding a game something it isn't b/c of a few hickups.

and for God-sake... don't spend your money on CRAP games and fund companies that produce garbage!  & also support my boycott of PSU!!!  The true definition of what it crappy game will be (my opinion of course)
