Dead Rising was pretty disapointing for me. Some great gameplay but I'm annoyed at the one save you get, I'm having to start it for the 3rd time now because I just ran out of time and my save is in the wrong place.

Also the psycopaths are way to fast at aiming and firing guns, once when trying to kill carlito he was aiming at brad, fired and the shot hit me. I mean c'mon this is Capcom, not some tiny little company that havent been prducing games for over 20 years.

Ive read in a couple interviews the save system was set that way on purpose to stop people reloading constantly with no conseqeunce wich would make the game super easy and lame. The game was probably my favorite so far I finally beat it on 3rd try at lvl 50 it was a tough game kinda.

My biggest let down was perfect dark zero that was the game I was most excited for and it sucked so bad, I tried to force myself to play it but I hated it and its super lame aiming.

lol @ this tread.

well, I was pretty disappionted with Prey.  The multiplayer just sucked, and the entire game felt a lot like quake/unreal to keep me interested.

My current disappointment tho is Test Drive U.  I mean, I get how hard it was to do the whole MMO for racing, but why did the actual RACING have to take such a hit?  The cars just drive too weird for a simulation series like Test Drive has always been.  Hell, I actually enjoyed NFSMW more than this one.

Now, on the opposite side, only one game truly surprised me:  Chromehounds.  the demo was weak, not a lot of hype around the game at all, but it turned out to be lots of fun for me online.

every single 360 game ive played was a dissapointment except for maybe Marble Blast.  But my friends would ALL disagree.  The reality is just that my taste hasn't been catered to... yet.

Ya really except for Oblivion I haven't cared for anything enough to buy it.

I've just reverted to xbox games I never played or finished.

Right now playing POP3 and finishing Black.  Great fun games!

Some people hate halo.  It was the best game I played on xbox.

Bomberman: Act Zero is the worst game ever, but it didn't disappoint me. I think that PDZ was a disappointment. Also, Chromehounds was a pleasant surprise. It's no SMB3 but it is better than the 6/10 I had been reading it was.

Multiplayer is about a 7.5

Single player is like, a 6.0

I dont know, for me there are too many games to play that are better so why waste your time.

Just to clear it up Disappointment implies you were expecting something from the game... and those expectations were not met.

For instance before it was released I was EXPECTING Bomberman Act Zero to offer compelling LOCAL multiplayer... I was DISAPPOINTED when I found out that it didn't offer any local multiplayer at all. I haven't even played it and I wont bother.

A game sucking does NOT mean that it's a dissapointment... it's only a disappointment if you were expecting it to NOT suck in the firstplace... With that said I don't understand how anyone could pick Over G or Rumble roses... both of those games were obviously suck-fests from the moment they were announced.
Personally (and even my GF agrees) There are too many GOOD games out right now I have about 4 at my house that I haven't even played yet, and a rental list that grows daily... I was at the game store the other day looking at the new releases lamenting about not having nearly enough time to play everything I wanted to play.

Its ok, I fell for it to lol

Anyways in my case I am speaking of dissappointment.  The main dissappointments are

-lack of vsync
-jaggies
-cost (not that bad that the price upped, but at least deliver me  smething that doesnt need 10 updates to play it and have fun.)
-pop ups
-framerate and just general hiccups
-shitty multiplayer (they cant all be halo or R63 but OMFG)
-lack of consistency (you'll see one charachter in a game and wow they  look  great then another steps onto the screen and you'd swear he just stepped off the original xbox)

lots more reasons to list but i have faith in the second wave.

I couldn't agree more... beerchug.gif

I enjoyed the first wave games, there were a lot of good titles and I was in heaven with HD resolutions even if a lot of the games were HD versions of their Xbox 1 counterparts with some extra glitz for good measure.

The first wave had a few graphical high points like Fight Night and Oblivion; but the 2nd wave games, OMFG, It's like a whole new console, Dead Rising I think blows away (graphically) everything else on the console The fact that the environments are so massive, with ungodly amounts of enemies on screen and yet they can zoom close up to anything have it look as good as pre-rendered cut-scene is just flat out impressive.

I really can't wait for what's coming down the pipe: GoW, SC:DA, Blue Dragon, Lost Planet, Mass Effect, Tony Hawk's Project 8... It's going to be a graphically beautiful holiday.

I was pretty dissapointed with GRAW. I did my research, read the reviews, watched the trailers and talked about it on the forums.  My expectations were high but when I actually sat down and played the game... I didn't like it at all.  I thought the controls were akward, the gameplay and story were unimaginative, and the graphics were unpolished when viewed closeup.

Maybe it's just me, as I know most wont agree with my opinion of GRAW.

I thought Prey was awesome.  Sure it felt like Quake but was build on the same engine.

I thought condmened was my favorite 360 game and a few people disagree with me.

It's more personal opinion.

Condemned was definitely impressive, I could play that game over and over again, the sense of anxiety and fear the game made you feel while playing it is unparalleled even when I KNOW what's around the corner  laugh.gif

that was a surprising game for me, before launch I was kind of "meh" about it because I'm not big on games with an FPS control style and it looked pretty boring from the screen shots I saw. I ended up buying it for the box art because I had an extra $60 to burn on launch day (since DOA4 was delayed) and I bought it just because I liked the adventure horror concept and the box art looked cool...

I'm glad I did buy it because it's hands down my favorite game on the 360  love.gif
