Condemned was definitely impressive, I could play that game over and over again, the sense of anxiety and fear the game made you feel while playing it is unparalleled even when I KNOW what's around the corner
that was a surprising game for me, before launch I was kind of "meh" about it because I'm not big on games with an FPS control style and it looked pretty boring from the screen shots I saw. I ended up buying it for the box art because I had an extra $60 to burn on launch day (since DOA4 was delayed) and I bought it just because I liked the adventure horror concept and the box art looked cool...
I'm glad I did buy it because it's hands down my favorite game on the 360

I agree, condemned was a really nice suprise. When I saw it in the store I didn't even give it a second glance. However, once I downloaded the demo I was sold. The graphics were detailed and had high quality texturing, the story was interesting and the gameplay was innovative with the detective work, melee weapons and non-replenishable ammo supplies. Condemned in HD and 5.1 with the lights turned off is truly one of the most intense video game experiences to be had.
