hey .. I have everything working pretty well with audio dashboard exploit, stil can use Live, just upgraded to PBL 1.4.1 and bios evox 4979 BFM ... I upgraded because while most xbins seem to work fine (boxsplorer, emulators etc) a few just hang upon execution like linksboks, Xpong, DangonSlayer.

I am stumped.  pretty much anything built with the SDK that works for others should work for me right?  Am i missing something stupid like all my xbe's need to be signed with the same key PBL is signed with and it just happens that most are signed with habibi?   Cause I tried signing linksboks xbe but it didn't work .. didn't think it would but I am trying anything I can think of.

If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate it ... I want to play XPong dammit

well .. i sorta fixed my problem .. ok i got linksboks to run .. ok fine .. I realized all the homebrew xbe's that run for me I have gotten from xbox-tribe.com .. instead of the usually places.  Everything I got from the usual place doesn't want to work ..  clearly something isn't matching up between the xbes and my bios or something .. not sure what it is.. I have been trying all sorts of options with dexbe.

So if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them since I havn't found Xpong on xbox-tribe yet.

god dammit I am stupid.

i was using linux rar with the e option which just drops everythign in one dir ... so I was losing all the subdirs from archive.   of course once I figured this out star wars started right up .. I'm about to redo all my freaking software that has been hanging .....  sorry to anyone who wasted the time to read my posts.  however maybe someone else is as dumb as me and this post will help.

PS  becuase I was downloading the stuff from xbox-tribe from the web to my pc I was using a program that was smarter than me.  So thats why .. only xbox-tribe stuff was working.  can't find an emoticon to express how stupid I feel.

Xpong here I come.  <
