I made some observations which warrant some questions.

Alan Wake was an Ati showcase title at E3, being shown only in Atis booth ofcourse. Shortly after that, we found out it was going to be a MS exclusive, making sense because the 360 is built around Ati tech.

A video is posted at xboxyde and the developers do some explaining of the pc rig its being played on before they show the game. Intel dual core and an nvidia gpu? Isnt that a bit contradictory?

Have things changed so much with the game that they switched from building it around Ati tech?

Again, just an observation and I was excited when thinking about this game because I knew that it was being built primarily around whats inside the 360. That excitement has been toned down after seeing the vid.
