Advent Rising 2
« on: September 20, 2006, 12:21:00 AM »

I just finally finished Advent Rising and the end it said "to be continued" does that mean that that Advent Rising 2 will be on the 360. I love the type of gameplay and think that this type on a 360 will rock. Just wondering I haven't found anything and was wondering if anyone had seen or read anything.

No! the game was too glichy and got too much bad press. So it didn't sell. So I seriously doubt it.

..and it was a damn shame. The game had an interesting story, and I would like to have seen it continued.

everyone says it was glitchy but I never experienced it when I was playing. I too think the story is awesome, and would make a righteous game on the 360. I just like the whole game the controller layout the story, and for an xbox game it had decent graphics. I really wish they would revamp it and make the second one.

But im sure u experienced the sloppy frame rate and weird loading. I loved that game but I couldn't finish it because of the glitches. Remember the Million dollar contest that was supposed to be online? Well they had to scrap it at the last minute BECAUSE  the game was so glitchy!

I really wanted that game to more than what it become, thats why I seem so passionate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grr.gif)

haha I hear ya, there was a lot of framerate drops in the cut scenes, but i just thought the xbox was getting bogged down,(even though the game itself does cutscenes with in real time and not cg) I guess i did notice that stuff but the gameplay was just so fun to me that i overlooked it. And if you do finish you will be like me and want the damn second game to come out. HAHa ya I remember the contest, what a crock but still you know you had fun picking shit up and throwing it or pushing an entire room full of enemies back. I know it is like 98% not going to make it but still I want to see it out.

the game was great.  yes some technical issues, but overall it was brilliant.  the story was original, the gameplay was compelling, and the whole game just screamed a lot of thought.

however majesco (didnt they publish it?) is not only working on small budget games, so that throws this one out the window.

i wish it was BC, i can find it cheap and wouldnt mind playing it again.

I fully agree. The gameplay and story were truly brilliant.

Gun in one hand flinging people (or holding them up and shooting them) was pure awesomeness. And the flick targetting worked great for me.
