I am just getting a bit antsy. I love The Pirates game from the original xbox even though its one of the least gameplay intensive games I've played. I just love being a pirate (of the open sea) Does anyone know if there is one of these games in the pipeline. Or am I just a weirdo wanting to play more pirate games?

one would hope, but movie based games aren't usually that good

scummVM running on the first gen xbox might have been one of the best pirate days ever. (i just wish LA would make another monkey island game though)

They should do a remake of a remake of Sid Meier's Pirates for the 360. That game was awesome. And yeah, I didn't really like the previous Pirates of the Caribbean game, like Reaper said movie based games usually means suck.

I totally agree the only thing I'd like to see if they remade it would be some first or third person views. Like say boarding a ship and fighting guys, not just preset you have this and can do 2 attacks like the old one. Plus I wouldn't mind walking around a port either not just seeing a list of places to go. But still I love the game to death Have played it probably 50 times through. and for anyone who's played it you know how long that shit can take.
