I haven't played an NHL game since n64. I think I am going to get one of these two. What is an online league exactly?

Got NHL 2K7 today instead of "07.  Even though 07 has the nicer graphics and advanced stick control, 2K7 has much more realistic skating animation and feel, smoother framerate throughout, and more realistic player faces (look like the real players - 07 less so).

I will rent 07 and see if it has better gameplay, but all around I think 2K7 is still better for true hockey fans...not to mention the online league mode.

BTW, the graphics aren't that far behind...and the motion and feel of skating are even ahead a bit.
