Fuzion Frenzy 2 - Anyone Have A List Of The Mini-games Yet?
« on: August 28, 2006, 07:02:00 PM »

Anyone find a list of the mini games (and descriptions) yet?
God, I hope that in all of the new stuff they add, they
include some of the older games.
(Like how you could play some of the same mini-games from previous
versions of Monkey Ball in the newer versions)

I cant wait for this... and to make it LIVE compatable is going to be freaking
great.  I"m going to be playing this game forever when it comes out.
Hell, I'm still playing the original every time the family comes over for get togethers.

I have to agree that this is a great party game, can't wait to see what they add in for the new version - maybe something along the lines of a Mario Party type of play would be beneficial to the series...

The official press release:

Fuzion Frenzy 2 Takes Gaming to Other Planets

Xbox 360 party genre game from Hudson arrives in the U.S. this holiday

MS announced today that “Fuzion Frenzy 2” will make its way to store shelves in the United States this holiday. Published by MS and developed by Hudson, “Fuzion Frenzy 2” is a party game for Xbox 360 set in space that combines futuristic arcade action, superior mini-games, tournament modes, and custom tailored games with online features such as multiplayer and customizable tournaments.

Players are able to create their own unique tournaments that can be shared on Xbox Live while building achievement points. Radical themes and characters utilize the visual HD technology of the Xbox 360. Gamers can also use tournament cards that are either won or given out to defeat their opponents in rank, select the next mini-game to be played, or choose their next destination planet.

“Fuzion Frenzy 2” offers a variety of 40 mini games that a wide audience can play. Players battle new tournaments on seven different planets by competing in games such as the Collision Collusion, Turbine Jumper, and Super Slam Dunk which is a advanced slam dunk shootout played in low gravity where players try to steal the ball from their challengers to score a slam dunk.

so 40 mini games total

and the official ones so far are:
Collision Collusion
Turbine Jumper and
Super Slam Dunk

I'm sure you could figure out a few more if you looked at the demo box art at EB or GameStop
Also there are some screenshots here: http://www.xboxyde.c...ws_3331_en.html I'm not too familiar with what the game names are I just like playing it.

Which game is twisted system?

i think he meant that if twisted system has a new name, what is the new name (which is logical since a video was released, and twisted system isn't on the list of confirmed games)

personally, i'm not sure how good fuzionfrenzy 2 will be on live as what i find fun about 4 player "party" games is that theres actually 4 people in the same room for all the chaos. thats what i like about SNES bomberman, mario party, and the original fuzion frenzy. i just hope that it ends up translating well into a live environment and surprising me as i'm expecting it to be an amazing game, but more of a offline 4 player multiplayer smile.gif

there was some game in the first one that i liked that i would like to see in the ff2, it was kind of like a 4 player game of snake where the trail behind you kept getting bigger and you tried to not hit your own trail while trapping other players. cutter was also pretty cool which had a similar concept

yup smile.gif

There were a lot of games I liked... I OWNED at the DDR type game where you had to tap the buttons to the rythim. I liked pretty much everything except the games were you either had to squash bugs or light fireworks

I like all the games that were on the demo attached to Halo. Sumo and Twisted System were easy to learn, but fun to play.

Downloadable extra mini games would be pretty mad. I was a fan of the first game, and this looks good. Just worries me that it sounds like its getting away from its roots...
